Basketball Rules and Regs

Master the rules and regulations of the game of basketball!

Directions:

  • • This course contains one VIDEO, a STUDY GUIDE, and a QUIZ. 
  • • STEP 1: Open the Basketball Rules and Regs Study Guide. This PDF will open in a separate browser window with its own tab. Review all of the content carefully. Go over it several times until you know the information from memory. Mastering the information in the study guide will make it much easier for you to pass the Basketball Rules and Regs Quiz. 
  • • STEP 2: Watch the video. 
  • • STEP 3: After viewing the video, click the "Quiz" button and complete the interactive questions. The quiz will open in a separate browser window, so this page will remain open behind the quiz page. Your browser will create a new tab for the quiz page. If you need to watch the video again, simply toggle back and forth between the tabs.
  • • Note to Tutor: An answer key for the Quiz can be found in the Mentor Resources section > Worksheets page.
  • • ONCE YOU START A QUIZ, DO NOT STOP UNTIL COMPLETED. If you quit too soon, your work may be lost and you will need to start again.
  • • At the beginning of the quiz you will be asked to provide some personal information, such as your first and last name, the date, and the name of your tutor. We must have the above information so we can document that you have completed the course.
  • • To receive credit for this, you must master the study guide information, watch the video to the end, and pass the quiz with a score of 90% or higher.
  • • You may take a quiz up to three times in order to pass it. Unlike other quizzes in this program, you only have one try for each question, (except #10 on which you are allowed two tries), so if you do not pass, you must take it again on another day. You may not take the quiz on the same day. You must restudy and wait for another session. 
  • • When you have studied the basketball rules, watched the video, and passed the quiz (90% or higher), you have completed this course.
